Huawei announced P8 Lite 2017 with 5.2” Display & Android Nougat

Huawei announced its new device called as P8 Lite 2017. Although you might be familiar with this name already, this is 2017 (new) version of the previous P8 Lite which was one among the popular devices from the Chinese company. This new handset comes with an improved design with powerful specifications and technology. The handset will be available in the German market by the end of January 2017 for 239 euros.

Coming to the specifications of this device, it comes with a 5.2-inch touchscreen display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolutions coupled with 3GB of RAM. Out of the box, the handset will feature Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with 16GB of onboard storage which could be extended with a microSD card slot. Under the hood, there is Kirin 655 processor with eight cores with clocking speeds of 4×2.1 and 4×1.7 GHz.

There is a 3000 mAh battery on the back to power the device and is a Dual SIM variant that supports LTE connectivity. On the rear, there is a 12MP camera accompanied with an 8MP selfie camera. These specifications are similar to that of Huawei P9 Lite that was released earlier and can be considered as a good alternative for P9 Lite.

The Huawei P9 comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) touchscreen display. To power the device there is a Kirin 950 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device came out of the box with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and EMUI 4.0 on top. It has 12MP dual rear cameras with OIS and laser autofocus. The P9 supports dual SIM dual standby and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

The device will be competing with the devices like Lenovo K5 Note, Oppo F1S, Xiaomi Mi Max, OnePlus 3, Moto G4 Plus. We need to wait and see when this device is going to be announced globally. How much can this device be priced in the global market?
